Position Summary

The Client Support Specialist is an extremely important and vital position to the success of the warehouse operations. This individual provides support to the limited number of assigned customers as well as to the Client Care Manager and team. The role also serves as the liaison between the client and operations and is the principle point of contact for the client and must understand client expectations while partnering with operations to ensure outstanding service.

This role is also responsible for providing operational support at a warehouse location to ensure efficient and timely pick-up and delivery, handling of customer orders, and shipments.

Daily responsibilities and activities include but are not limited to order and inventory management, customer service, data entry, billing, report generation and analysis, internal and external communications, transportation coordination, third party portal routing, and miscellaneous administrative duties.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Duties include but are not limited to the following:• Provides customer service and operational support for the Warehouse Center• Maintains an open-line of communications with customers• Researches shipment tracking requests and provides feedback, including resolution of misplaced orders and/or shipments• Responsible for basic technology needs, including user skills with a variety of MS Office software programs• Monitoring and maintaining computer systems and networks; working with remote Subject Matter Experts to ensure operational efficiencies• Internal communications with Business Development/Sales, Integrations and Information Technology to resolve customer problems• Provides support to the Client Care Manager and team• Other duties as assigned

Minimum Education and Experience• High school diploma or equivalent

The employee may be required to perform numerical operations including basic counting, adding, subtracting, multiplying, and dividing or more complex quantitative calculations.• Work Environment: This position is primarily performed in an office, with up to 40% work-from-home as an option.
