POSITION OVERVIEW
As a Client Support Coordinator, you play a key role in supporting BDC’s mission as the only bank dedicated exclusively to Canadian entrepreneurs. You deliver high‑quality customer service while providing efficient administrative and operational support to internal teams. Your work contributes directly to helping small and medium‑sized businesses grow across Canada, in an inclusive environment where you can be yourself at work.
CHALLENGES TO BE MET
In this role, you will:
Actively contribute to the development of a client portfolio by analyzing information to identify financing opportunities and propose value‑added solutions aligned with client needs.
Support marketing initiatives by organizing events, campaigns, and promotional activities, including preparing marketing communications and providing on‑site logistical support.
Manage multiple administrative and operational projects simultaneously to support internal teams and initiatives.
Prepare client‑facing documents such as letters, proposals, and contracts in accordance with established processes, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and timely follow‑up.
Maintain and develop business relationships with external organizations, influencers, and prospects to help promote BDC’s financing services.
Perform pre‑qualification and risk‑rating activities for financing clients and prospects, including conducting initial client interviews and gathering required financial information.
WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or a related field.
Experience in a customer service role, with demonstrated ability to listen actively and identify client needs or sales opportunities.
Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a multi‑project environment.
Ability to work collaboratively within a team and provide administrative support to multiple stakeholders.
Strong analytical skills, with the ability to review information and support financing‑related decision processes.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
Ability to adapt to changing situations and priorities.
Ability to think concisely and communicate information clearly.
Preferred Qualifications
Previous experience in banking, financial services, or a related environment.
Knowledge of financing products, credit analysis, or risk‑rating processes.
Functional proficiency in French (oral and written).
