About the Opportunity
Clearwater Analytics is growing, and we want you to be part of it! Following significant expansion in the DACH market, we're looking for a Client Servicing Team Lead to join our Frankfurt team and lead a talented group of client servicing professionals supporting some of the region's most sophisticated investors.
This is an exciting opportunity to lead from the front, at the intersection of people leadership and client delivery. You'll build a culture of teamwork, collaboration, and accountability within your team, while playing a hands-on role in the daily success of clients across the DACH region, including asset managers, insurers, pension funds and more.
We've recently opened a brand-new office in Frankfurt's Opernturm, home to a brilliant and rapidly growing local team, a clear signal of our long-term commitment to the DACH market, where a growing number of organisations are choosing our cloud-native, front-to-back platform for investment management.
What You'll Do
- Lead and manage a team of client servicing professionals, allocating work, ensuring quality delivery, and providing training or knowledge-sharing where it's needed.
- Own the preparation and delivery of regular 1-on-1s and biannual performance reviews, identifying and facilitating learning and career growth opportunities for your team.
- Design, implement, and track quantitative and qualitative metrics to measure the success of projects, people, and processes, including NPS, CSAT, CEM, SLA delivery, retention, ESS, gross margin, client churn, automation improvements, and employee attrition.
- Lead SteerCos and client relationship reviews, acting as a confident, knowledgeable, and patient escalation point for client issues.
- Partner with product management and development teams to help build a differentiated client offering, improve operational tooling, support sales efforts, and develop repeatable, scalable processes.
- Ensure a seamless transition for newly onboarded clients into steady-state client servicing operations.
- Use tooling such as Salesforce, Workday, and Power BI to monitor and drive team performance.
What We're Looking For
We welcome applicants from a wide range of backgrounds. What matters most is your people-leadership experience, client focus, and drive to build a high-performing team.
- Fluency in German and English (written and spoken), essential for engaging with our DACH client base.
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Mathematics, Sciences, or a related field.
- 7+ years of directly applicable experience in the finance or fintech industry, with knowledge of investment accounting or investment operations preferred.
- 2+ years of demonstrated success in a people manager role.
- Experience delivering measurable KPIs on a weekly and monthly basis in prior roles.
- Familiarity with insurance and/or investment management market concepts is a plus.
- Confidence communicating clearly and concisely in written and verbal contexts, including small and large group settings, for both internal and client-facing audiences.
- Strong Excel skills (VLOOKUP, SUMIF, Pivot Tables, VBA, etc.) and proficiency in Microsoft Office.
- Excellent attention to detail, strong documentation skills, and outstanding organisational abilities.
- An exceptional problem-solving mindset.
