Hours:  Two (2) Schedules are currently available:

  • Monday through Friday, 12:00 PM - 8:30 PM

  • Monday through Friday, 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM

Position Overview: 

We are seeking a reliable and detail-oriented individual to join our team as Client Services Support. This role plays a key part in sample shipping, cooler management, client support, and maintaining an organized and efficient workspace. The ideal candidate will be comfortable handling a high volume of outbound orders, working with basic shipping  technology, communicating with clients and internal teams, and performing physical tasks in a fast-paced environment. 

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Order Processing: Build customer orders based on information provided in Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS). Generate and review corresponding paperwork and labels, ensuring they are accurately applied to a variety of bottle ware. Verify that all bottle ware, labels, and packing materials match the project requirements before orders are prepared for shipment. 

  • High-Volume Shipping: Prepare and ship a large volume of coolers and packages using FedEx, ensuring shipments are completed accurately, securely, and on schedule. 

  • Shipping Labels and Technology: Use FedEx, and other basic systems to create shipping labels, track packages and verify delivery and order information 

  • Client Service: Interact professionally with clients during sample drop-offs, pickups, and shipping-related communications; ask appropriate questions and coordinate with internal teams when additional information is needed. 

  • Sample Receiving: Review available information, or chain of custodies to determine the appropriate Pace laboratory for testing and ensure samples are shipped or couriered to the correct destination. 

  • Cooler Cleaning and Cross-Contamination Prevention: Receive and sanitize coolers returned through FedEx, couriers, and clients to ensure coolers are ready for reuse. 

  • Stock and Supply Support: Assist with receiving, organizing, and restocking supplies, coolers, packing materials, and other department inventory. 

  • Safety and Organization: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area and follow company procedures, safety guidelines, and applicable shipping requirements at all times. 

Skills & Qualifications: 

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred. 

  • Basic computer skills and familiarity with shipping systems 

  • Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, particularly when handling high volume of coolers and information 

  • Ability to communicate professionally with clients, couriers, and internal teams and provide responsive customer service. 

  • Ability to review project or sample information, follow routing guidance, and determine when to ask for assistance to ensure samples reach the correct laboratory. 

  • Strong multitasking and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize time-sensitive tasks and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. 

  • Reliable, punctual, detail-oriented, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively with a team. 

  • Ability to stand for extended periods and regularly lift, carry, move, and handle coolers, boxes, and supplies weighing up to 50 lbs.
