We are seeking a Client Service Specialist (CSS) to join our Account Management department. The Account Management department is responsible for providing exceptional customer service to Gehring Group's Clients. You will work in a team environment while using initiative and independent judgement, at times, to resolve problems for our customers and their employees. This is an opportunity to learn about various lines of coverage and become well-versed in employee benefits and wellness programs.
The Client Service Specialist serves as an "advocate" to our Clients' employees, assisting with and resolving issues related to billing, eligibility, claims resolution, member appeals, benefit verification, medical procedure authorizations, and general benefit inquiries. Our Client Service Specialists help our clients' employees navigate very difficult issues that they would otherwise have a hard time resolving directly with carriers while establishing a great relationship with both the employees and various carriers. In short, Client Service Specialist make a difference in the lives of our clients' employees and can assist with some of the most trying issues.
Qualifications and Skills
- Minimum of two years of professional experience in customer services, sales, HR, insurance, or related field is required.
- A Bachelor’s degree in risk management, human resources, business administration, public administration or a related field from an accredited university is preferred.
- Valid Florida Life, Health & Variable Annuities 2-15 license or the ability to obtain one is required.
