We are seeking a talented individual to join our Employee Health & Benefits team at Marsh. This role will primarily support Group Life claims and underwriting requests and will be based in Sydney office. This is a hybrid role that has a requirement of working at least three days a week in the office.
In this role you will support Employee Health & Benefits colleagues and clients in all aspects of administration and technical support through accurate, efficient, and timely responses to insurance transaction queries across the insurance life cycle.
Working under the umbrella of operations you will help drive the standardisation of processes and procedures, including driving timely and accurate production/processing of queries relating to claims and underwriting. You will provide legally compliant work to clients/insurers and enter accurate information into all Marsh IT Applications, enabling the delivery of analytical statistics.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date client/member records and certificates of currency.
Conduct peer reviews and participate in annual audit checks.
Document business rules and processes for team use.
Support client/member reporting and end-of-month reconciliations.
Handle email and telephone enquiries professionally and efficiently.
Suggest and participate in process improvements and system enhancements.
Collaborate closely with Account Executives and contribute to a positive team environment.
Provide mentoring and technical guidance to colleagues.
Build and maintain effective working relationships with insurers, clients, and internal teams.
Ensure compliance with relevant insurance legislation and company policies.
Maintain professional development and adhere to quality and error avoidance standards.
What you need to have:
High School Certificate or equivalent.
At least 3 years of experience in a similar client service or operational role, preferably within insurance claims or life insurance related fields.
Strong understanding of life insurance products and relevant legislation.
