As a Client Service - Vice President within the Custody Middle Office Client facing team, you will have the opportunity to maintain existing business relationships and act as a liaison between the client and the Bank to remediate issues. You will be part of a diverse team, working in a fast-paced environment, where your strong time management and multi-tasking skills will be crucial. Your role will involve managing day-to-day efforts, hosting review meetings with clients, and promoting improvement and efficiency opportunities. We value strategic and analytical thinking, and your ability to see the big picture will be key in this role. Job Responsibilities:

  • Focus on being extremely client-focused and result-oriented in approach.
  • Maintain existing business relationships and act as a liaison between clients and the Bank to remediate issues.
  • Manage a team with strong people management skills, groom and develop diverse talent.
  • Exhibit boundary-less behavior, proactively work with global teams in a matrix organization environment.
  • See the big picture and escalate quickly during critical situations.
  • Possess experience in voluntary/mandatory Corporate Actions, Income-related processes, Trade Management, or Cash Management.
  • Handle day-to-day inquiry management and resolve escalated client exceptions.
  • Ensure timely and accurate responses to Custody Enquiries, execute in line with documented procedures and controls.
  • Work alongside a team of 10-15 professionals, manage day-to-day efforts.
  • Host review meetings with clients and drive improvement/efficiency opportunities.
  • Execute forward-thinking strategies to maintain response quality and completeness, prevent case reopening.
  • Publish and review daily/weekly performance metrics, identify and track reasons for deviations, ensure follow-up and escalate ageing items.
  • Manage group email boxes and SharePoint queues, ensure queries are resolved/responded to within a timeframe sensitive to the urgency of the event, maintain internal/external client satisfaction.


Required Qualifications, Skills, and Capabilities:

  • Hold 12-15 years of experience in Trade Management, Cash Management, or Asset Services within a Custody or Investment Bank environment.
  • Demonstrate strong executive presence and interpersonal skills.
  • Exhibit strong business communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Showcase strategic and analytical thinking abilities.
  • Perform successfully in a risk-based environment with a proven track record of risk reduction.
  • Adapt to a changing environment, learn, document, and implement new processes efficiently.
  • Demonstrate experience in multi-tasking and effective time management with attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
  • Utilize Microsoft Office skills: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint; knowledge of Tableau is an added advantage.
  • Manage time effectively to meet internal and external deadlines/cutoffs.
  • Work night shifts.
