The Custody Middle Office Client Facing team in Mumbai, India, is composed of cross-product, functionally aligned teams dedicated to supporting Global Custody clients across various enquiry streams, including Trades, Cash, Foreign Exchange, and Asset Servicing. As a member of this team, you will will play a crucial role in delivering proactive and high-quality service to clients, ensuring their needs are met efficiently and effectively.
Job Summary:
As a Client Service Analyst - Team Lead in the Custody Middle Office Client Facing team, you will play a crucial role in delivering proactive and high-quality service to clients, ensuring their needs are met efficiently and effectively. You will be extremely client-focused and result-oriented in approach, helping to maintain existing business with current clients and acting as a liaison between the client and the Bank to remediate issues. Your strong analytical thinking, multi-tasking abilities, and effective time management skills will be key in this fast-paced environment.
Job responsibilities:

  1. Possess a financial services background in custody or investment banking with experience in trade management, cash management, or asset services.
  2. Exhibit strong interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  3. Demonstrate strong analytical thinking.
  4. Showcase experience in multitasking and effective time management with attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
  5. Have good knowledge of Microsoft Office skills: Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, with Tableau as an added advantage.
  6. Display strong time management skills to meet internal and external deadlines.


Required Qualifications, Skills, and Capabilities:

  1. Be extremely client-focused and result-oriented.
  2. Maintain existing business with current clients and act as a liaison between the client and the bank to remediate issues.
  3. Possess 2+ years of experience.
  4. Hold a bachelor's degree or above.
  5. Exhibit boundary-less behavior, be proactive, and work with global teams in a matrix organization.
  6. Demonstrate the ability to see the big picture and escalate quickly during critical situations.
  7. Possess experience with voluntary/mandatory corporate actions, income-related processes, or trade/cash management.
  8. Ensure timely and accurate responses to custody enquiries in line with documented procedures and controls.
  9. Manage all open enquiries, maintaining ownership to update and close cases in a timely manner according to best practices.
