Together, these underpin our retirement and protection solutions: we are an international player in pension risk transfer, in UK and US life insurance, and in UK workplace pensions and retirement income.

Our global asset management business provides our clients and partners with complex, responsible investment solutions, working internationally across public and private markets.

Who we are

We are one of Europe’s largest asset managers and a major global investor across public and private markets.

Asset Management is a critical driver of our Group strategy. The business aims to work synergistically with our Institutional Retirement and Retail divisions to benefit our clients and customers, and deliver enhanced shareholder returns.

Our investment philosophy and processes are focused on creating value over the long term. We believe that incorporating financially material sustainability criteria, when relevant to our clients, can create value and drive positive change.

Job Description

We are recruiting for a Client Reporting Analyst to join our Client Reporting team and play a key role in delivering high-quality reporting and insights to some of our most important clients and consultants. You'll develop a strong understanding of our data, systems and investment mandates while taking ownership of the end-to-end delivery of accurate and timely client reporting.

This is a highly collaborative role that combines client interaction, analytical problem-solving and operational excellence, with responsibility for a broad range of deliverables including quarterly investment reports, audit and LDI reporting, platform reporting, regular reporting activities and ad hoc client requests.

What you'll be doing

  • Overseeing the collation and timely delivery of client and consultant data, ensuring services are delivered within agreed service levels and in line with relevant regulatory requirements and industry standards
  • Applying investment management knowledge and maintaining an understanding of products, clients, competitors and the wider market to support high-quality client outcomes
  • Collaborating with subject matter experts across the business to coordinate and deliver ad hoc queries and data requests, managing activities through to completion in line with client expectations
  • Promoting a robust control environment by documenting processes and controls, ensuring the accuracy, quality and timeliness of client deliverables while mitigating operational risk
  • Supporting team flexibility and capability development by sharing knowledge, cross-training colleagues and enhancing skills to meet the needs of the wider Client Service Operations network
  • Reviewing, maintaining and improving procedures, controls and processes, updating documentation and completing control and error logs as required, while prioritising clients' best interests and effective risk management

Who we’re looking for:

  • Good academic background, preferably degree qualified
  • An understanding of the investment management industry
  • Significant attention to detail and able to demonstrate high levels of accuracy and thoroughness
  • Prior experience in the production of reports (not necessarily in the finance/investment industry) is preferrable but not essential
  • Strong workflow management experience
  • Proficient IT skills, primarily with MS Excel and PowerPoint
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proactive and proven to work on your own initiative

Whatever your role, we reward performance and behaviour with a package that looks after all the things that are important to you. Here are some of the benefits we offer:

  • The opportunity to participate in our annual, performance -related bonus plan and valuable share schemes
  • Generous pension contribution
  • Life assurance
  • Healthcare Plan (permanent employees only)
  • At least 25 days holiday, plus public holidays, 26 days after 2 years’ service. There’s also the option to buy and sell holiday
  • Competitive family leave
  • Participate in our electric car scheme, which offers employees the option to hire a brand-new electric car through tax efficient salary sacrifice (permanent employees only)
  • There are many discounts we offer – both for our own products and at a range of high street stores and online
  • We’re creating net‑zero carbon workplaces by 2030 by investing in our sustainable, modern offices across the UK, all designed to bring people together and elevate the in‑person experience
