Responsibilities

JOB OVERVIEW:

The Client Relationship Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth and ensuring retention across a portfolio of event clients. This role blends consultative sales expertise with executive-level account leadership to expand existing event clients, increase service adoption, and deliver measurable financial results.


As a strategic partner to clients and internal stakeholders, this position focuses on revenue expansion, profitability, and long-term partnership growth while reinforcing ALTOUR’s value proposition in the events marketplace.


RESPONSIBILITIES:

Revenue Growth & Expansion (Primary Focus)


  • Contribute to and develop creative event proposals for existing clients, staying ahead of key industry trends and bringing fresh, innovative ideas that showcase our creative capabilities and support client growth and sales opportunities.
  • Own revenue growth strategy across assigned portfolio including cosmetic, fashion and luxury brandsIdentify, develop, and close organic growth opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Expand adoption of ALTOUR products, services, and preferred supplier programs.Drive cross-sell and upsell initiatives to maximise total account value.Partner with VP Sales to execute strategic growth plans and achieve revenue targets.Proactively identify sales triggers, competitive risks, and expansion opportunities.Deliver executive-level presentations and quarterly business reviews tied to measurable ROI

Account Leadership


  • Serve as senior relationship owner for assigned enterprise clients.
  • Build and maintain stakeholder relationships.
  • Position ALTOUR as a consultative advisor and strategic partner.
  • Ensure 100% account retention through proactive engagement and value demonstration.
  • Lead internal cross-functional collaboration to deliver on client commitments.

Financial & Performance Accountability• Monitor account performance, revenue trends, and margin contribution.• Align client objectives with ALTOUR profitability goals.• Identify cost optimisation strategies and value-creation opportunities.• Maintain disciplined pipeline visibility within existing accounts.

What Success Looks Like• Consistent revenue growth within assigned portfolio.• Increased wallet share and multi-service adoption.• Executive-level client advocacy and partnership.• High client retention and satisfaction.• Strong contribution to overall ALTOUR growth strategy.

Qualifications

REQUIREMENTS:

5+ years’ experience in meetings, incentives and creative brand experiences• 3–5+ years proven success in strategic sales or enterprise account growth.• Demonstrated track record of expanding revenue within existing accounts.• Strong financial acumen and business case development skills.• Executive presence with excellent communication and presentation skills.• Proficiency in Word, PowerPoint and Excel.• Willingness to travel up to 40%.

The salary range on this job posting/advertising has been developed to give applicants a range based on the local market where the candidate would be working.  Many factors, such as years of experience, budget etc. are considered when determining the starting rate of pay. 


This role may be eligible for an incentive, commission, bonus, or a discretionary bonus program based on the company’s financial goal achievement and individual performance.
