The opportunity

As Client Relationship Manager, your primary duties and responsibilities will include:

  • Pro-actively manage and develop relationships with your allocated portfolio of customers.

  • Actively identify and pursue new sales opportunities within allocated portfolio, including cross selling.

  • Develop & implement strategies & tactics to increase revenue flows from the allocated portfolio.

  • Identify and be alert to new business opportunities within customer organization to generate new revenue opportunities; coordinate with the (Global/Regional) Account Owner to gather information to further qualify the opportunity for pursuit and development.

  • Monitor & support the finance team with the collection of daily sales outstanding - DSO (if required).

  • Attracting new opportunities and develop existing clients to generate additional volume & profit as per KPI for portfolio assigned.

About you:

What you’ll need to succeed

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Lead and engage stakeholders in face to face customer meetings such as new product instruction, KPI meeting etc.

  • Proactively manage client escalations, such as shipment delays and issue resolution

  • Work with team lead and get support from client service team, product heads and network stakeholders to ensure service delivery meet expectation

  • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in freight forwarding Industry.
