The Role
Mercer Qatar is seeking a bilingual, client-facing professional to support the growth of our Career Consulting, Rewards, and Compensation services. This role is focused on business development and relationship management, requiring strong interpersonal skills, commercial awareness, and the ability to represent Mercer professionally with senior clients in Qatar.
The successful candidate will work closely with consulting teams to develop client opportunities, manage relationships, and position Mercer’s solutions in the market.
Key Responsibilities
Build, develop, and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients in Qatar
Support business development activities including client meetings, proposals, presentations, and follow-ups
Act as a trusted relationship manager, understanding client needs and aligning them with Mercer’s Career and Rewards solutions
Represent Mercer in a professional and culturally appropriate manner at client meetings and external engagements
Collaborate with consulting teams to support delivery and ensure a high-quality client experience
Identify market opportunities and contribute to revenue growth within the Career and Rewards consulting portfolio
Maintain awareness of market trends in compensation, rewards, and talent practices
Candidate Profile
Fluent in both Arabic and English (spoken and written)
Strong personal presence and professional presentation skills
Proven experience in business development, client relationship management, consulting, or professional services
Familiarity with or strong interest in compensation, rewards, career frameworks, or HR consulting
Excellent communication, influencing, and stakeholder management abilities
Comfortable engaging with senior client stakeholders
Commercially minded, proactive, and relationship-oriented
Bachelor’s degree required; relevant postgraduate qualifications are an advantage
