As a Client Project Manager within Diebold Nixdorf’s Retail division, you will lead complex software integration and managed service delivery projects across the retail sector. You will oversee the implementation, coordination, and lifecycle management of retail software solutions in alignment with service contracts, SLAs, and customer expectations.

This role requires a deep understanding of software delivery, systems integration, and managed services in retail environments, with hands-on collaboration across products, engineering, customer, and partner teams.

Responsibilities
  • Clarifying requirements with proper scope documentation, planning, direction, prioritization, change management, and delivery of projects in alignment with client expectations and business needs
  • Managing resources to implement and integrate software solutions and technological applications, including design, build, and synthesis activities customized to meet organizational needs
  • Providing project management support for routine client-focused projects within a functional or operational area
  • Working with functional and technical representatives to define, sequence, and estimate project activities and durations
  • Working with customers and internal company resources to align on business requirements and ensure proper documentation
  • Estimating resource requirements, costs, and other budget needs
  • Supporting and facilitating all phases of project execution, including project documentation
  • Managing the delivery of multiple project initiatives to enhance services and customer support levels
  • Assuring client satisfaction for services, systems, and installations as outlined in contracts and documented deliverables
  • Ensuring effective cross-functional participation, monitoring metrics, and reporting on project progress, status, and issues
  • Ensuring compliance with standards, policies, and processes, including safeguarding proprietary information and protecting corporate assets
  • Establishing and maintaining effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including subcontractors and vendors
  • Participating in team meetings and contributing ideas to improve team and project outcomes
  • Participating in technical meetings and coordinating with stakeholders to resolve issues, tasks, and project-related challenges
  • Working with development and support teams to ensure project issues and tasks are effectively managed, addressed, and resolved to the highest levels of customer satisfaction
  • Developing expertise in existing and new software solutions to effectively manage projects and engage in functional discussions with stakeholders
Qualifications

Essential 

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer sciences or equivalent work experience required

  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in project management ideally in retail

  • Good technical knowledge of IT environment landscape and integrated solutions

  • Experience working in Agile environment

  • Good business English skills (written and spoken)

Skills Required

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or equivalent work experience
