The Client partner - Nordics is responsible for overseeing multiple accounts, ensuring the delivery of strategic objectives, and building long-term partnerships with key clients. The role requires a combination of strategic vision, leadership, client management, and financial acumen. TheClient partner - Benelux acts as a bridge between clients and internal teams, ensuring quality service and business growth.
Key Responsibilities:1. Client Relationship Management
- Serve as the primary points of contact for senior-level client stakeholders.
- Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key clients, understanding their needs and business objectives.
- Ensure client satisfaction through regular communication, performance reviews, and solution-oriented problem-solving.
2.Strategic Leadership
- Develop and implement account strategies that align with client goals and objectives.
- Identify opportunities for business development within existing accounts.
- Lead the strategic planning process for projects, ensuring that they meet client goals and drive ROI.
3. Team Leadership and Development:
- Oversee account teams, ensuring that they are effectively managing client accounts.
- Mentor and coach account directors, account managers and executives, fostering professional growth and ensuring high performance.
- Encourage collaboration and communication within teams to ensure timely and effective project delivery.
4. Financial Accountability:
- Drive profitability across accounts by managing budgets, forecasting revenue, and controlling costs.
- Lead contract negotiations and ensure that account agreements are financially sound and beneficial to both parties.
- Track and report on account performance metrics, ensuring that financial targets are met.
5. Project Management:
- Oversee the successful delivery of projects, ensuring they are on time, on budget, and aligned with client expectations.
- Work closely with the delivery team to ensure the highest quality of work.
- Manage any client escalations and lead the resolution of issues swiftly and effectively.
6. Business Development:
- Actively seek opportunities for organic growth within existing accounts.
- Contribute to new business pitches and lead the onboarding of new clients.
- Stay informed of market trends and competitive activity to identify new opportunities for growth.
- Leadership: Ability to lead, motivate, and develop high-performing teams.
- Client Focus: Deep understanding of client needs and a proactive approach to exceeding expectations.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to think big-picture and long-term, aligning actions with strategic goals.
- Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of financial principles, including budgeting, forecasting, and profitability.
- Communication: Exceptional interpersonal and presentation skills, able to influence and manage stakeholders at all levels.
- Project Management: Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Business Development: Strong ability to identify growth opportunities
- Problem-Solving: Ability to resolve conflicts and manage crises effectively and efficiently.
- Language skills: fluent in English required, Fluency in Danish is highly preferred.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in account management, preferably in an agency setting.
- Proven track record of managing and growing client accounts.
