We're seeking a detail-oriented Client Operations Associate to join our growing team. This role is critical to ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and accessibility of our performance and billing data—directly impacting our ability to serve clients effectively. You'll lead data migration projects, establish robust data feeds, and maintain high data quality standards within our performance management systems.
Your Impact- Lead historical performance data migration from various sources into Farther's performance and billing management systems, collaborating with internal teams and external vendors to ensure successful transfers
- Own the change management process for transitioning from legacy to enhanced data feeds, setting up and maintaining automated feeds from custodians and third-party providers
- Monitor data feed health proactively, identifying and resolving failures or anomalies while documenting specifications and operational procedures
- Develop data quality monitoring processes and dashboards, conducting regular audits to identify and correct inconsistencies
- Establish data governance best practices to ensure integrity and compliance with regulatory requirements
- Troubleshoot data discrepancies during migration and collaborate with engineering teams to optimize processes
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field
- 4+ years of experience in business operations or data analysis within financial services, preferably at an RIA firm or performance reporting technology company
- Strong understanding of investment performance reporting and billing concepts
- Proven experience with data migration projects and managing complex datasets
- Proficiency with data manipulation tools (Excel, Google Sheets, etc.)
- Experience with performance management systems (Orion, Addepar, Black Diamond) and/or billing systems
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects in a fast-paced environment
- Strong communication skills to collaborate effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Proactive self-starter with strong sense of ownership and accountability
- Familiarity with Black Diamond
- Knowledge of regulatory requirements related to investment data (SEC, GIPS)
