As a Payments Governance Client Ops Analyst on the Third-Party Payment Processing Governance team, you will play a pivotal role in advancing our mission and driving results. This position is responsible for collating, reporting, and reconciling large datasets for Merchant Services third-party processors. You will develop and maintain data solutions that support reporting, analytics, and business intelligence using Merchant Services internal systems. You must be able to monitor and analyze performance data in real time and cumulatively, and make recommendations to support successful outcomes.
Job Responsibilities
- Remain current on card network requirements associated with payments products, including sub-merchant due diligence, fraud, and chargebacks.
- Leverage tools such as Snowflake, Python, Tableau, Alteryx, PeopleSoft, Power Apps, and UiPath to research large volumes of processing data and create Merchant Services third-party processor performance metrics.
- Perform ongoing transactional data monitoring to identify changes in activity, trends, and anomalies.
- Collaborate with Payments Governance reviewers/facilitators to understand processes and identify and address pain points in data analytics and reporting.
- Ensure accurate and timely information is provided throughout the assessment process.
- Identify, research, report, and/or escalate potential risks proactively identified through data analysis.
- Communicate professionally—verbally and in writing—with relevant stakeholders.
- Review, analyze, recommend, and implement best-in-class process improvements related to third-party oversight, reviews, systemic solutions, and evaluations.
- Maintain system access profiles, data-specific standard operating procedures, and process flows.
- Design, develop, and maintain Tableau dashboards and leadership reporting metrics.
- Maintain the integrity of the Payments Governance database/SharePoint site/repository, including tracking activity, cataloging documentation, maintaining request status, and safeguarding confidential files.
