Job Description

Department Overview

The Client Onboarding department has responsibility for processing and controlling Client AML documentation for Funds that are contracted with a SS&C Regulated entity, Risk Assessment and Approve all new prospective Clients within various SS&C Business Lines and Gocheck static data Accuracy and approval of Contracting Parties and Fund Domiciles data within SS&Cs proprietary technology, SS&C Gocheck.

For ClientFund AML, the team are to complete compliance to the standard required for a relevant jurisdiction, including recording and document correctly, by way of KYC documentation collection review, verify and assessment of overall risk, analysis and apply a risk basis, disposition and review of nightly screening alerts and handling of internal staff inquiries.

For Client Clearance, the team are to review, asset and apply a risk rating for all new prospective Clients, presenting any non-Low risk clients to the Risk Committee for final decision. 

For static data within the SS&C proprietary system Gocheck , the Client Onboarding team are to approve the Contracting party and Fund Domicile static data to ensure all Funds that are contracted to a SS&C Regulated entity captured and reviewed compliant by the ClientAML team, as well as the ability for various stakeholders within the SS&C Globeop Business to utalise Gocheck for Reporting to the Regulators, MIS reporting, SS&C Board Reporting, Sales and any other reporting as required.

Position Overview

We have an immediate opening for a Static Data Analyst

The open position is for a Senior Associate Static Data Analysist within the Client Onboarding team. The Static data Analyst is required to work with the Account Managers and CSO heads within the SS&C GlobeOp Business Line for to ensure all funds contracted and being services are within Gocheck correctly and accurately.

Responsibilities

  • Understanding Gocheck, its use, the importance of accuracy and the downstream impacts of inaccuracies.
  • Be knowledgeable of the services being provided by SS&C.
  • Understanding and review of SS&C Service Agreements, identifying the SS&C contracting parties and the services each one provides.
  • Work with the respective Account Managers, Fund Accounting and Investor Services teams to identify all funds being services, services performed, start dates of each service offering and they are accurate in gocheck.
  • Ensure the various business areas complete all necessary updates relating to all historical funds for SS&C GlobeOp in line with the services contracted and being provided.
  • Authorise and approve all finalized and correct fund entries within Gocheck.
  • Terminate any funds in gocheck that are no longer being serviced or did not launch.
  • Record all entities that have services being performed but not contracted or contracted but not performed or any other deficiencies identified
  • Provide weekly status MIS reports on the funds allocated for completion and completed.

Experience & Qualifications

  • Prior experience in dedicated AML/KYC or investor service roles within a fund administrator or financial services firm.  Minimum three years relevant experience.
  • Existing knowledge of certain regional AML regimes (CIMA, BMA, CSSF, ICB)
  • Strong investigative and problem solving analysis
  • Excellent time management and able to deal positively with challenges and time pressures
  • Ability to work independently while maintaining consistency with policy and procedure expectations
  • Strong written and verbal communication including the ability to assist with written reports, memos and policy development
