As a Client Implementation Engineer at Portfolio BI, you will be responsible for configuring and implementing Portfolio BI solutions to the requirements of alternative asset managers. The ideal candidate should have a strong technical background and ability to collaborate with stakeholders externally and internally.
Responsibilities:
- Solution engineer tailoring technical solutions to meet client-specific requirements
- Instal, configure and integrate PBI SaaS solutions
- Develop processes for data extraction, cleansing, manipulation, and analysis
- Communicate and manage internal and external implementation requirements and expectations
- Manage software product releases and upgrades
- Perform ad-hoc work/special projects as necessary to support the various client and internal initiatives
- Work closely with project managers and other team members to ensure timely and on-budget delivery of implementation projects
- 7+ years of proven experience in software development. Recent hands-on experience in C# .NET is required
- 5+ years of solid hands-on experience in SQL, MS SQL. Strong relational database expertise is required
- Experience in data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau is preferred
- Prior experience in the finance sector or working on financial products is desirable
- Strong experience with version control systems
- Experience with cloud services - Azure-AD, Azure-SQL, Azure-app-registrations, etc.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, agile environment
- Bachelor's degree in business, engineering, computer science, or related field
