Client Financial Specialist 

Position Summary: 
As a Client Financial Management Professional at Marsh, you will play an important role in supporting the client experience by managing financial processes, resolving issues, and ensuring accurate and timely delivery of client-related financial activities. This role is focused on providing high-quality service, maintaining strong attention to detail, and partnering effectively across teams to support Marsh’s professional standards and client commitments. This is an excellent opportunity to deepen your expertise in commercial insurance and client financial operations while contributing to a high-performing team. 

We will count on you to: 

  • Manage day-to-day client financial activities with accuracy, professionalism, and responsiveness 
  • Prepare, review, and process client financial transactions, invoices, and related documentation, including global placements and complex allocation calculations 
  • Support clients and internal partners by responding to inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner 
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation proactively and in accordance with Marsh standards and procedures 
  • Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure client needs are met, including building relationships that support active two-way engagement and communication 
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and client service delivery; propose solutions for consideration 
  • Ensure compliance with Marsh policies, professional standards, and transparency requirements, including providing training for other colleagues 
  • Use sound judgment and problem-solving skills to support complex financial and operational requests, including advanced skills for independently identifying errors and executing all necessary corrective measures through resolution 
  • Contribute to a collaborative and inclusive working environment 

What you need to have: 

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience preferred 
  • Experience in client invoicing, financial operations, or a similar role in insurance or financial services 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills 
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities 
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines 
  • Meticulous attention to detail 
  • Ability to work independently while partnering effectively across teams 
  • Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly Excel and Outlook 

What makes you stand out: 

  • Current Property and Casualty (P&C) General Lines Licensee 
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel formulas and pivot tables 
  • Experience with financial systems and tools used in client financial operations 
  • Exposure to commercial insurance or brokerage operations
