Edelman Singapore is hiring a Client Executive. We’re looking for a dynamic communicator who excels in media relations, influencer engagement, and thought leadership. If you thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment, this role is for you!
What you'll be doing:

  • Demonstrate a solid understanding of the broader communication industry and its basic principles.
  • Understand key client information, including business strategy, industry issues, products and services, key customers, and competitors.
  • Develop earned media skills –Building relationships with media, proactively surface new storylines, drafting media briefing materials, building thoughtful media lists, and outreach to media.
  • Write, edit and proofread materials including press releases, briefing books, coverage reports, pitch notes, fact sheets, and client correspondence.
  • Demonstrate knowledge of social media tools and channels.
  • Help supervise and educate interns.
  • Participate in new business processes, including research and proposal preparation.
  • Commit to continuous learning through Edelman Learning Institute and other training opportunities.
  • Demonstrate behaviors consistent with Edelman’s values and our Code of Ethics and Business Conduct.
     

What is required of you:

  • Degree/diploma in a relevant field, proficiency with Microsoft Office, excellent organization skills, and the ability to adapt to change and meet deadlines.
  • Previous internship experience is preferred.
  • Strong work ethic and dedication to consistently provide quality work.
  • Good interpersonal and excellent verbal and written communication skills along with the ability to work effectively with a variety of client service staff within a specific set of accounts.
  • A basic understanding of media and analyst relations and how to use social media in communications.
  • Strong attention to detail.
  • Basic research skills and project management skills.
  • Eagerness to learn and be part of and contribute to a strong, high-performing team.
