Job DescriptionTo manage and execute the Flow Sales deal execution process for diverse types of financial instruments within a single asset classes to meet deal requirements for low and medium-touch clients whilst adhering to CIB compliance standards and regulatory requirements.
Advisory- Provide clients with relevant advice and appropriate risk-management solutions based on product developments, industry trends and market regulations, and inform clients of currency / commodity movements to support their day-to-day decision making, and where required involve relevant specialists.
Client Management - Develop a long-term and trusting partnership with the portfolio of clients to ensure effective representation of client businesses to enhance their portfolio and unlock greater value for clients and their investors.
Client Management - Manage and review a portfolio of clients by maintaining and growing client relationships to develop and demonstrate a deep understanding of each client's organisation, strategy, and needs to determine if each client's portfolio is well-positioned to meet client and GM objectives.
Continuous Improvement - Recommend improvements / changes to systems and processes based on market and industry trends, economic analysis and client feedback to continuously improve overall functional efficiency and client experience.
Deal Execution - Timeously execute deals and place orders (Buy / Sell) on the system for clients. Prepare and complete all necessary documentation and paperwork for acquiring the required approvals to execute the transaction, while performing suitability and risk analysis.
Digital Tools - Promote the use of self-service tools to reduce the number of client enquiries and address client training issues to achieve predefined Enterprise Value (E/V) ratios for clients.
Financial Reports - Log and file all communications to / from clients and departments for tracking purposes. Provide daily profit / loss and position reports to management to support effective maintenance of financial controls within the team. Provide support with periodical reports (quantitative and qualitative) as well as daily / weekly / monthly reports that are produced timeously and according to defined formats and procedures.
Market Research - Collect and research data and help with the analysis of current and expected market developments and trends. Support with client performance analytics and reporting to facilitate the advisory process. Conduct regular portfolio reviews to identify and manage client retention, lost clients and year-on-year revenue, turnover variances and win-loss ratios.
Post-Trade Operations - Work closely with Middle Office / Operations teams to assure the delivery of a first-class post-trade service (trade bookings, amendments, give-ups, settlements) and maintain daily operational efficiency while minimising market risk and firm exposure.
Pricing - Receive price requests and set varied price based on baseline pricing keeping in line with the market vision and trading strategy.
Product Knowledge - Stay abreast of product developments and industry relevant market regulations and give input on any changes in the product portfolio or in legislation that may affect operations.
Product Risk - Understand and adhere to applicable policies, systems, processes, procedures and product risk limits and internal and external rules so that all relevant risk and business control requirements are fulfilled. Promptly escalate complex issues and report any suspicious transactions that contravene the risk limits.
Regulatory Compliance - Complete all due diligence by conducting proper verifications and compliance checks of all trade orders to ensure error-free transactions and conformity to required regulatory body standards and regulations.
Sales - Work closely with the Sales team to ensure comprehensive client coverage and participation in client initiatives and technical sales meetings for clients enabling effectives sales across a single asset class.
