The Role – Client Delivery Manager 

As a Client Delivery Manager at Genius Sports, you serve as the crucial link between our clients and internal teams to deliver high-quality digital products and solutions. You will lead the delivery of complex sports technology solutions including Free-to-Play products, digital engagement platforms, and data solutions from conception to launch and beyond. This role combines technical product management skills with client-facing delivery expertise to ensure successful implementation of our solutions. 

  

Key Responsibilities 

Strategic Product Management 

  • Own the end-to-end delivery of sports technology products and solutions, serving as the primary product owner and client advocate
  • Develop deep product expertise in our Free-to-Play and engagement solutions, applying this knowledge to scope custom solutions that meet client objectives 
  • Define product requirements with clear user stories, acceptance criteria, and technical specifications
  • Partner with commercial and account teams to provide expert product input during pre-sales activities, scoping sessions, and proposal development

Client Relationship Management 

  • Serve as the primary point of contact for technical product delivery, establishing trusted advisor relationships with clients 
  • Lead client-facing meetings, presentations, and workshops with confidence and technical authority
  • Effectively manage expectations, communicate progress, and navigate challenges throughout the product lifecycle
  • Identify and capitalize on opportunities for product enhancements and additional value-add services 

Delivery Excellence 

  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, timelines, and resource forecasts to ensure on-time, in-budget delivery 
  • Lead cross-functional teams including developers, designers, QA, and product specialists through the delivery process
  • Implement and maintain delivery frameworks combining Agile, Scrum, and traditional project management methodologies as appropriate for each client engagement 
  • Oversee quality assurance processes to ensure all deliverables meet our high standards and client expectations
  • Proactively identify and mitigate risks, creating contingency plans and escalating issues appropriately  

Design & User Experience Coordination 

  • Collaborate with design teams to translate client brand guidelines, visual identity, and experience goals into product designs
  • Facilitate client feedback sessions on wireframes, mockups, and design concepts
  • Ensure design deliverables meet client expectations while maintaining product usability 

Technical Collaboration 

  • Work with technical teams to translate client requirements into viable technical solutions 
  • Provide input on technical feasibility of client requests
  • Stay current on industry trends and new technologies to enhance our product suite 

Product Performance & Optimization 

  • Monitor and analyze product performance metrics post-launch
  • Lead continuous improvement initiatives based on user analytics, client feedback, and market trends
  • Facilitate retrospectives to identify successes and opportunities for process improvement
  • Document and share best practices and insights across the organization

  Qualifications 

  • 3+ years of experience in product/project management, client delivery, or similar roles, preferably in a technology, SaaS, or sports technology environment
  • Proven track record of successfully delivering digital products with multiple stakeholders 
  • Solid technical acumen with understanding of web, mobile, APIs, and data technologies
  • Excellent client-facing communication skills with the ability to build relationships, negotiate, and influence across all levels
  • Experience working with Agile methodologies and related tools (JIRA, Confluence, etc.)
  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Analytical mindset with data-driven decision-making capabilities
  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent professional experience

Preferred Qualifications 

  • Experience in sports technology, sports data, or digital fan engagement
  • Knowledge of project management frameworks 
  • Experience with product lifecycle management tools
  • Understanding of sports betting, media, or fantasy sports ecosystems

The salary for this role is based on an annualized range of $65,000 - $115,000 USD. This role will also be eligible to take part in Genius Sports Group's benefits plan.

Genius will be returning to the office 4 days a week, and this will give you the opportunity to work collaboratively face-to-face with colleagues in our New York office.
