Client Data Services Analyst

Join Guy Carpenter to help our clients manage the risk of natural disasters (e.g., earthquake, flood, wildfire, hurricane, etc.) in the interesting world of reinsurance.

The Client Data Services (CDS) is a specialist team that implements Workflow, Data Benchmarking and Data Visualisation Projects to support GC Catastrophe Management Teams.

We will count on you to:

• Development & maintenance of Alteryx workflows to support CDS projects
• Work on CDS data holding projects including utilising machine learning techniques to extend data attributes and undertake benchmarking analysis
• Work on CDS Visualisation Projects, designing & developing PowerBI dashboards
• Train cat modelling users on the use of CDS products

What you need to have:

• BA or MA degree
• Previous professional experience in a similar field
• Established proficiency in one or more of Python/R/SQL/Alteryx
• Strong Data Visualisation Skills – the ability to convey a clear and simple message visually from complex data is required
• Machine Learning techniques – some sort of demonstrable skills relevant to our use case
• GIS/Spatial analytics skills – an understanding of GIS techniques is a plus
• An interest in built environment/natural hazards & risk is a bonus
• Fluency in spoken and written English
• Willingness to learn and apply new methods
• Mature and professional approach towards given tasks and responsibilities
• Legal work authorization to work in the Czech Republic
