Overview of the role
As a Client Consultant on the Partnerships team, you will play a pivotal role in managing and nurturing relationships with some of Euromonitor's biggest client companies in terms of spending globally and in the APAC region which we consider as “Partnerships Accounts”. You will be mostly in charge with Japanese subsidiaries of such Partnerships accounts . You will be responsible for understanding their needs, providing tailored solutions, and ensuring their satisfaction with our services. This role requires a proactive and strategic approach to client management, with a focus on delivering exceptional value and driving long-term partnerships and ultimately generate revenues from the accounts.
Key responsibilities
- Strengthen and grow relationships with Partnership account clients in Japan by strategically leveraging their global Euromonitor subscription agreements to drive local engagement and revenue.
- Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their business objectives.
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless delivery of services and solutions.
- Monitor client satisfaction and address any issues or concerns promptly.
- Identify opportunities for growth and expansion within existing client accounts.
- Prepare and deliver presentations, proposals, and reports to clients.
- Stay updated on industry trends and market developments to provide valuable insights to clients.
- Represent Euromonitor at industry events and conferences as needed.
Requirements
1. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Business or a related field
- Right to work in Japan
- Proven track record in B2B sales, managing client relationships and delivering revenue growth
- Strong consultative sales experience, including engagement with senior stakeholders
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and communication skills
- Strong networking ability and stakeholder management skills
- Native-level Japanese and business-level English proficiency
2. Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with global companies, particularly in the consumer sector
- Experience engaging with C-suite executives
- Demonstrated ability to operate effectively in both Japanese and English business environments
- Strong interest in international business, economics, and corporate strategy
- Highly self-motivated, goal-oriented, and creative, with excellent time management skills

Skills Required
- Bachelor's Degree, preferably in Business Studies

- Fluent in Japanese and English (TOEIC 865 or more)
