JOB SUMMARY
The Client Administrative Representative is primarily responsible for the effective and timely allocation of funds received for credit to Client’s policies; investigating queries and journalising misallocations and premium transfer requests.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Completes Data Entry of premiums received via:
- Cash and Personal cheques
- Government and company cheques (inclusive of IHRIS Download and the necessary reconciling journals)
- Managers cheques
- Credit/debit advices
- Direct Debit
- Online - Bank Transfers
- Online - Credit Card
- Journals
2. Updates Premium Allocations:
- Creating new
- Amending old allocations by way of allocation forms, etc
3. Processing of Returned Cheques
- Preparing and issuing letters to accompany cheques being returned to clients
4. Logging, Filing and Maintaining of Post-dated cheques and Database
5. Handles queries:
- Receiving, investigating and addressing queries concerning misallocations or non-receipt of payments for Maritime Life on the request of Client Service Reps, Financial Advisors and Clients.
6. Prepares Journals:
- Amending misallocations upon request from Client Service Reps, Financial Advisors and Clients.
- Transferring premiums and amending loans as requested via Disbursement forms.
SECONDARY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Updates GenTrack and Productivity Logs on completion of tasks
- Files work-units processed daily
- Ensures that documents are placed to be scanned and filed
- Mails receipts to Clients
- Completes monthly, quarterly and half-yearly projects as necessary
- Participates in meetings and Team Building exercises
- Performs any other functions as required by Team Leader/ Coordinator
QUALIFICATIONS
Education
Minimum 5 CSEC passes inclusive of Grade 1 or 2 in Mathematics and English A and
6 CAPE passes (full certificate) or an equivalent diploma or professional certificate with a focus on accounting or business studies.
Experience
Minimum two (2) years experience in an office environment.
