Your impact:

We’re looking for a fast learner, problem solver, and well-organized person to join our Global Solutions Department – now counting over 150 specialists. You will be working on Yardi Voyager®, our company’s flagship product, an end-to-end property, and investment management software for residential, office, retail, and industrial real estate. This is a great opportunity for someone eager to launch his career at a multinational company.

Data Guardian is a team of 5 members, providing support to a select portfolio of clients, primarily investors. Our clients outsource their property management and accounting to external companies, also known as data providers, who regularly supply us with valuation, commercial, and financial insights, typically in Excel based formats.

As a member of our team, you will play a major role in processing this data and uploading it into our client’s database using an internal tool called ETL (Extract Transform and Load). Your efforts will enable our clients to access both aggregated and detailed views of their portfolios, empowering them to make well-informed evaluations of their investments.

This hybrid role requires working from the office at least once a week, so please take into account that you should be based in or near Cluj-Napoca. 

What You'll Bring Along:

    • University graduate with a Bachelor's degree in business, economics, or computer science;
    • Fluency in English;
    • Strong client management and interpersonal skills;
    • Advanced Excel proficiency; VBA and macro skills are a plus;
    • Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities;
    • Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies and processes quickly;
    • Excellent organizational skills, ability to plan work and meet deadlines;
    • Accuracy and attention to detail;
    • Ability to work both independently and as part of a team;
    • Strong communication skills;
    • Understanding the functionalities of the ERP systems;
    • SQL programming is much appreciated and will be put to good use;
    • Accounting background is an advantage.

    What you'll do:

      • Use Excel and VBA extensively to extract, analyze, and validate data — identifying errors or corrupted entries, assessing overall data quality, and transforming it into Voyager-compatible formats for import;
      • Conduct detailed data checks and investigations, frequently leveraging SQL to ensure accuracy and consistency;
      • Collaborate with and train data providers to improve the quality and reliability of the data they deliver;
      • Troubleshoot and resolve data issues both before and after uploads, ensuring smooth and error-free imports;
      • Design and implement new processes tailored to client needs, enhancing efficiency and data integrity;
      • Maintain direct communication with clients through calls, Zoom meetings, and emails, providing guidance and support throughout the data management process
