HPC-Industrial, Powered Clean Harbors is looking to hire an Account Manager. The Account Manager is responsible for growing new accounts and expanding and/or maintaining existing accounts for the assigned specified book of business. Environmental experience is highly preferred.

Responsibilities
  • Champion health and safety as the top priority by ensuring compliance with all company policies, safe work practices, and regulatory requirements while promoting a strong safety culture at all times.
  • Drive revenue growth and profitability for assigned lines of business within the designated territory or region by meeting or exceeding monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets, revenue objectives, and new business goals.
  • Develop and execute strategic sales and market penetration plans in collaboration with Line of Business (LOB) leadership, Sales, Operations, Facility Operations, and Vertical Sales teams to expand market share and strengthen customer relationships.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for assigned industrial service offerings, including Automotive services, industrial cleaning and industrial specialty services. 
  • Build, maintain, and strengthen relationships with corporate accounts and key stakeholders, including maintenance managers, turnaround planners, environmental compliance officers, operations directors, and other decision-makers.
  • Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation, prospecting, and opportunity identification through proposal development, pricing negotiations, contract execution, and transition to project execution teams.
  • Conduct customer meetings, site assessments, and technical discussions to evaluate operational needs, recommend service solutions, and identify opportunities to improve compliance, efficiency, safety, and uptime.
  • Collaborate with technical experts, estimators, project managers, and operations personnel to develop proposals, scopes of work, safety plans, cost estimates, and service agreements for turnarounds, projects, and long-term contracts.
  • Maintain strong communication and coordination between Sales, Operations, Customer Service, and customers to ensure consistent service delivery and customer satisfaction.
  • Participate in joint sales calls, business development meetings, regional sales meetings, trade shows, industry conferences, and client events to promote services, share market intelligence, and support account development initiatives.
  • Monitor industry trends, competitor activity, and regulatory developments, to support strategic planning and customer solutions.
  • Maintain accurate CRM records, pipeline tracking, account documentation, sales forecasts, and reports related to customer visits, business opportunities, revenue performance, and sales activities.
  • Manage account ownership responsibilities, support invoiced revenue collection efforts, control sales expenses, and ensure timely submission of expense reports and related documentation.
  • Provide coaching, technical guidance, and support to account managers, business development representatives, and local sales teams to strengthen value propositions and drive proactive selling efforts.
  • Assist with major project scopes, customer meetings, and strategic initiatives as needed to support operational success and long-term customer partnerships.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree required 

  • 5+ years industry or relevant experience; environmental experience highly preferred 

  • Maintain the ability to work with little or no supervision. Maintain the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously. 

  • Maintain professional appearance. Must have excellent presentation and writing skills. 

  • Maintain knowledge of State & Federal Waste Codes Regulations as needed 

  • Ability to travel as needed
