The Work:
Responsibilities:
- Design and implement RESTful API endpoints and core business logic for the wrapper service using Java and Spring Boot
- Build and refine features that support OpenFGA data model management
- Develop robust unit, integration, and end‑to‑end tests using modern Java testing frameworks
- Optimize Java application performance, including tuning Spring Boot configurations and improving service efficiency
- Break down complex requirements into well‑structured Java components and microservices
- Maintain high‑quality code through effective use of Java design patterns, clean coding practices, and architectural standards
- Troubleshoot defects, analyze root causes, and deliver reliable Java‑based fixes
- Create and enhance documentation, code samples, and developer‑support materials
- Participate in collaborative code reviews, architectural discussions, and Agile ceremonies
- Support onboarding and cross‑functional teams by answering technical and integration questions
- Contribute to CI/CD pipeline improvements and automation to streamline Java service deployments

- Hands‑on professional experience with Java and Spring Boot
- Strong background in designing and maintaining RESTful APIs
- Proficiency with core AWS services
- Familiarity with Modern Authorization systems and concepts
- Experience working with Technologies such as: OpenFGA; conceptual frameworks inspired by Google Zanzibar (including Ory Keto and SpiceDB); policy‑driven models like AWS IAM, Casbin, and Open Policy Agent; as well as identity and authentication platforms such as Auth0, Okta, Keycloak, AWS Cognito, Azure Active Directory, Firebase Authentication,
and foundational authorization models such as RBAC (Role‑Based Access Control) and ABAC (Attribute‑Based Access Control).
- Active DOD Secret clearance
- Ability to work on‑site in Arlington, VA two to three days per week

The base pay range for this position in these locations is shown below. Compensation for roles at Accenture Federal Services varies depending on a wide array of factors, including but not limited to office location, role, skill set, and level of experience.
