Easterseals Western and Central Pennsylvania is a non-profit organization looking to hire a dynamic Level III Classroom Assistant to work with children with special needs ages 3-8 years old at our West Mifflin, PA location. The position is full-time, 7 hour days at a rate of $23 per hour. This comes with a full benefit package valued at 6K.

- Bachelor's (Required)
- PA Professional Teaching Certificate in Special Education, Elementary Education, and/or Early Childhood Education (Required)
- Special Education Experience: 1 Year (Preferred)
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES-Classroom Assistant
- Planning and implementing activities to enhance students' skills.
- Assisting in implementing the students' IEP.
- Providing a safe and accepting classroom.
- Providing 1:1 instruction as needed.
- Assisting in the instructional program, integration program, and behavior management of students
BENEFITS
- Work hours are Monday - Friday, 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., 7-hours days. Working 35 hours per week, with a typical school calendar of 9.5 months per year! The hourly rate is $23. We also offer the option to earn extra income with summer employment as well.
