DataOne Construction is seeking an experienced Class B Millwright to join our team on a high-profile data center project in Vineland, New Jersey. This is a critical role supporting the mechanical installation and equipment setting phase of a large-scale industrial construction project. The ideal candidate is a safety-focused, skilled craftsman with strong mechanical aptitude and experience working in fast-paced industrial environments.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate forklifts and Lulls (telehandlers) safely and efficiently to move materials and equipment on site
- Install and assemble piping systems, including pipe, flanges, and hangers
- Perform bolt torquing and precision alignment tasks
- Install metal grating and support structures
- Set and align mechanical equipment according to project specifications and drawings
- Work collaboratively with electrical, piping, and general construction crews
- Maintain a clean and organized work area while adhering to all site safety protocols
- Complete daily tasks with a focus on quality, schedule, and safety
Qualifications & Requirements
- Class B Millwright certification or equivalent hands-on experience required
- Proven experience operating forklifts and Lulls in a construction or industrial setting
- Strong background in pipe installation, flange work, hangers, torquing, metal grating, and equipment setting
- Ability to read and interpret mechanical drawings, blueprints, and specifications
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- OSHA 10 or 30 certification preferred (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to work at heights, in varying weather conditions, and lift up to 50+ lbs
- Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and commitment to teamwork in a large crew environment (~450 personnel on site)
Benefits Package:
- Overtime: Time and a Half Pay after 40 hours
- Saturday: Automatic Time and a Half Pay
- Sunday: Automatic Double Time Pay
- Holidays: Double Time pay
- Per Diem: $150 per day (for candidates living 90+ miles from the jobsite)
- Benefits: Health, Vision, and Dental insurance (Eligible after Probationary Period)
- Paid Time Off: Vacation, Sick, Bereavement, and Floating Holidays (Eligible after Probationary Period)
- Paid Holidays (New Year's Day, Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day)
- Drive Time (Going from one Jobsite to another Jobsite)
Skills Required
