Job Title: Clamp Forklift Operator
Location: Fairburn/Electrolux
Department: Warehouse/Logistics/Distribution
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and reliable Clamp Forklift Operator to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for safely and efficiently operating a clamp forklift to handle, transport, and store large, heavy items such as pallets, appliances, and paper rolls. The ideal candidate will have experience in warehouse operations, attention to safety, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
 

Key Responsibilities:
• Operate Clamp Forklift: Safely operate a clamp forklift to load, unload, and move large, bulky items such as pallets, furniture, appliances, and various materials.
• Load/Unload Trucks: Load and unload items from trucks and trailers, securing loads to prevent damage during transport.
• Inventory Management: Track inventory and organize stock in designated areas, ensuring efficient space utilization.
• Inspection and Maintenance: Conduct daily inspections of the forklift to ensure safe operation and report any mechanical issues or damage to equipment.
• Follow Safety Protocols: Adhere to all safety guidelines and procedures, including proper handling and storage practices to protect products and prevent accidents.
• Assist with General Warehouse Duties: Support the warehouse team with other tasks, including inventory counts, order picking, and general housekeeping, as needed.

Requirements:
• Experience: Previous experience operating a clamp forklift in a warehouse or distribution environment is preferred.
