The VP, Claims Transformation Domain Lead will spearhead the design and delivery of next-generation AI-powered employee technology, transforming how claims professionals work and driving measurable productivity gains across Chubb’s Claims organization. Reporting to the Head of Claims Transformation, this leader will own a critical domain within the transformation portfolio, leading the build-out of agentic AI capabilities that automate complex workflows, surface intelligent insights, and reimagine the adjuster experience from the ground up. The role will serve as the primary bridge between business strategy, product, and AI/engineering teams, ensuring solutions are purpose-built for claims operations and deliver tangible outcomes for employees and customers.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and drive a key transformation domain end-to-end by leading the strategy, design, and delivery of AI-powered employee technology that measurably improves claims professional productivity
- Translate business needs into technical requirements, ensuring alignment with claims operations and strategic objectives
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams (claims, IT, data science, engineering) to deliver automation projects on time and within scope
- Develop and maintain project plans, timelines, and risk mitigation strategies for the domain’s initiatives
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation, including timelines, budgets, and executive status reports
- Drive change management and adoption of new tools and workflows, championing an employee-centered approach to technology rollout across the claims organization
- Analyze process performance, identify opportunities for further automation, and implement continuous improvements
- Stay current on industry trends in AI, automation, and claims management, and identify opportunities for innovation
- 7+ years of experience in process engineering, operations, or project management, with a focus on automation or AI integration, preferably in insurance or financial services
- Demonstrated experience leading cross-functional teams and delivering complex projects in an agile environment
- Strong understanding of AI/ML concepts and their application to enterprise workflows and employee productivity
- Outstanding communication skills, able to translate technical concepts for business stakeholders and vice versa
- Experience with claims operations is highly desirable
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or related field; advanced degree or relevant certifications (Six Sigma, PMP, Agile) a plus
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills; data-driven decision maker
- Initiative-taking, adaptable, and able to navigate ambiguity
- Collaborative, inclusive, and able to drive consensus across diverse teams
The pay range for the role is $180,000 to $275,000. The specific offer will depend on an applicant’s skills and other factors.
