Capricorn Mutual Ltd (CML) was created in 2004 to deliver a competitive alternative to insurance, offering market leading Protections tailored to the Members needs.
CML is a discretionary mutual and unlike an insurance company, operates as a non-profit entity solely for the benefit of its Members.

Role Summary
Are you ready to take on a dynamic role where you can truly make a difference? Working closely with the Claims Manager, you'll lead our claims lodgement and support team to new heights, ensuring that every new claim is managed efficiently and every service-related query is handled with the utmost care. Your leadership will be pivotal in maintaining effective claims cost management and delivering exceptional service to our Members.
Knowledge & Skills
Bring your expertise and passion to the table with these key skills:
• Analytical Prowess: Ability to interpret complex Product Disclosure Statements and Policy Wordings.
• Empathy and Communication: Ability to empathize with customers and communicate effectively.
• Multi-tasking Ability: Manage numerous tasks within set timeframes to meet deadlines.
• Team Collaboration: Share information and positively contribute to the team environment.
• Ownership and Initiative: Take ownership of your role and encourage initiative within your team.
• Problem-Solving: Excellent communication skills and creative problem-solving abilities.
• Technical Mastery: Knowledge of motor, property, and liability claims.
Experience
We’re looking for someone with:
• Leadership: Experience in people management.
• Claims Management: Five years’ experience in managing property, liability, and motor vehicle claims preferable
• Customer Service Excellence: Demonstrated ability to provide outstanding customer service under limited supervision.
Qualifications
• Educational Background: A Diploma in Financial Services is desirable but not essential.
