Claims Representative - Personal Injury

We are currently seeking a Personal Injury Protection (PIP) Claims Representative to join our growing Personal Lines Auto team. This position will be based in our newly renovated Boston office, directly across the street from South Station.  This is a great opportunity, in a great space, for someone who is eager to share their Personal Injury Protection claims experience, join our growing team, and continue their career with a financially sound company.

Essential Functions & Responsibilities
In this position, you will be responsible for the investigation, evaluation and disposition of injury claims under PIP policy coverages. This is a full-time position (37.5 hours) with a Monday – Friday schedule.

• Contact insureds, attorneys, medical providers and other parties related to auto accidents.
• Investigate all assigned claims for coverage under both personal and commercial lines automobile policies.
• Ensure timely disposition of all claims in accordance with regulatory and statutory requirements.
• Proficient in communicating in a variety of ways, including text, email and letter.
• Effectively manage workload through claims management and imaging systems.
• Pay submitted bills according to established procedures and regulatory requirements.

Qualifications & Education

• 1-2 years of PIP claims handling experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively via phone, text, email, and other written correspondence.
• Demonstrated level of competency in time management, priority setting, and customer focus.
• Experience using a claims management and imaging system
• Bachelor’s Degree or commensurate experience
