As part of our diverse team based in Sydney, you will help make a positive impact on someone’s life every day.

This is an exciting opportunity for someone with strong customer service experience, an allied health background or previous case management experience to join EML’s Specialised Insurance Group (SIG), supporting our Hospitality Industry Insurance (HII) and Trinity Insurance portfolios.

As a Claims Specialist, you will manage a portfolio of physical and psychological claims, supporting injured workers through the end-to-end claims process. This may include determining liability, coordinating treatment, managing payments, facilitating case conferences and supporting recovery and return to work outcomes.

Within SIG, you will be supported by experienced Team Leaders, Technical Specialists and Injury Management professionals who are there to guide your development and success in the role.

As part of the recruitment process, shortlisted applicants will be required to attend a face-to-face Assessment Centre on Wednesday, 5th August 2026 in Sydney.

This is a permanent, full-time position based in our Sydney office, with work-from-home flexibility (up to 3 days per week) considered from month three, subject to performance and approval.

  • Manage a portfolio of physical and psychological claims

  • Liaise with injured workers, employers, providers and internal stakeholders

  • Support recovery and return to work planning

  • Manage payments, treatment approvals and claim reviews

  • Facilitate case conferences and stakeholder meetings as required

  • Strong customer service experience

  • Allied health, rehabilitation or case management experience is highly regarded

  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills

  • Resilient, empathetic and able to manage competing priorities
