- Assist claims adjusters in processing property and casualty insurance claims.
- Conduct thorough investigations into reported incidents, gathering relevant information and documentation.
- Communicate with policyholders, witnesses, and other involved parties to obtain necessary details regarding claims.
- Review policy coverage and determine the extent of liability for each claim.
- Collaborate with internal departments such as underwriting and legal to ensure accurate and timely claims processing.
- Document claim activities and maintain organized claim files for future reference.
- Provide administrative support to the claims team, including data entry and file management.
- Participate in team meetings and training sessions to expand knowledge of insurance practices and procedures.
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program, preferably in insurance, business, finance, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
- Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy in data entry and documentation.
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and Word.
Program Overview/Benefits:
Program Dates: June 2026- August 2026
Hybrid Schedule: Minimum 3 days in the office per week
Compensation: Hourly rate of $25.00
