We are seeking a seasoned Claims Insurance Business Operations Senior Manager to lead large-scale life and wealth insurance operations within a dynamic, growth-oriented environment. This position oversees end-to-end business operations and process improvement initiatives, ensuring service excellence, efficiency, and compliance across multiple teams.
Key ResponsibilitiesLead and manage day-to-day operations focused on efficiency, quality, and compliance across multiple functional teams.
Supervise and mentor a multi-operational team of 200+ employees, including managers, senior analysts, and analysts.
Drive process improvement initiatives and contribute to the development of long-term operational strategies.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize business processes and improve customer experience.
Analyze operational data, KPIs, and performance metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Ensure all teams meet or exceed established performance targets, SLAs, and quality standards.
Participate in budget planning, forecasting, and resource allocation to support operational objectives.
Prepare and present regular reports on process performance, efficiencies, and strategic initiatives.
Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
6-8 years of progressive experience in Life & Annuity Claims industry, including at least 3+ years in a similar leadership role.
Proven experience in Life & Annuity Claim process operations and transaction management.
Must be legally authorized to work in US without requiring sponsorship now nor in the future
Strong proficiency in business process management, optimization, and performance improvement.
Experience working with 2–3 or more life insurance companies or TPA/BPO service providers.
Demonstrated ability to lead large teams and deliver operational excellence in high-volume environments.
Commitment to continuous learning and staying current with industry trends and technologies.
Advanced degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
Relevant professional certifications (e.g., Six Sigma, PMP) strongly preferred.
Proven experience driving digital transformation and process automation within insurance operations.
Schedule: 8:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m. CST
Travel: Occasional (approximately once per month within the U.S.)
