Job Responsibilities: What you will do
Manage auto property damage and bodily injury claims from initial investigation through evaluation and final settlement, ensuring compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements.Incumbents have up to $50,000 reserve authority; $25,000 settlement authority and $20,000 payment authority. Incumbents focused on workers' compensation have up to $100k in total incurred authority.

• Studies reports and similar claims to determine validity of the claim.
• Reviews, evaluates and processes claims and makes recommendations for resolution.
• Examines and authorizes payments within prescribed fiscal authority.
• Communicates with independent adjusters, third party administrators (TPAs'), claimants and attorneys to ensure claims are settled in an appropriate manner.
• Proactively work to assist others in achieving the organization's objectives.

Qualifications: What you need to bring

• 3+ years' experience in insurance/claims required.
• Must possess strong investigative skills with the ability to achieve optimal conflict resolutions.
• Must possess strong negotiation skills and be able to appropriately influence and persuade others.
• Must possess strong fact finding skills with ability to gather detailed information.
• Must be able to effectively manage multiple demands.
• Must be able to work independently or in a team environment.
• Bachelors' degree in related field or equivalent combination of education and experience required.

Pay Range: $73,850.00 - $94,950.00 Annual
