Job Description  

The Claims Coordinator supports the end to end claims process by reviewing, processing, and tracking inbound claims while ensuring clear and timely communication between claimants, internal teams, and insurance carriers. They respond to phone and email inquiries, research claim details, monitor workflow tasks, and identify irregularities that may require escalation or corrective action. Through accurate documentation and strong customer service, they help deliver a smooth, consistent claims experience for all stakeholders.

What You'll Do  

  • Receive, review, and process inbound claims in accordance with established procedures 
  • Respond to phone and email inquiries from claimants, providing accurate information and guidance 
  • Research claim details and gather supporting documentation to ensure complete and accurate processing 
  • Track claim status and monitor workflow tasks to ensure timely progression 
  • Identify discrepancies, irregularities, or potential issues and escalate as needed 
  • Maintain accurate and up to date records of claim activity and communications 
  • Coordinate with internal teams, insurance carriers, and third party partners to resolve claims efficiently 
  • Support communication between stakeholders to ensure clarity and transparency throughout the claims process 
  • Assist with report generation and data tracking related to claim activity 
  • Adhere to company policies, procedures, and regulatory requirements 
Qualifications

Experience and Education Requirements  

  • High School Diploma or equivalent 
  • Minimum of 1 year experience in a customer service role 
  • Experience in claims processing, insurance operations, or customer support preferred 
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy 
  • Excellent communication and customer service skills 
  • Ability to manage multiple claims and priorities in a fast paced environment 
  • Strong organizational and time management skills 
  • Proficiency with data entry systems, CRM platforms, and Microsoft Office tools 
  • Problem solving mindset with the ability to identify and escalate issues appropriately 
  • Adjusters license preferred or willingness to obtain within 60 days of employment.

  • Full-Time, Hourly Non-Exempt (overtime eligible)

  • We have an in office work style, with most team members working in the office from Monday to Thursday and remotely on Friday.
