What you’ll accomplish with us

As a Claims Assistant, you’ll be at the core of our mission. Here are the main responsibilities:

  • Screen and distribute emails and incoming requests to the appropriate team members;
  • Sort, scan, and manage incoming mail and documentation, including digital imaging;
  • Prepare, print, and assemble client correspondence and required documentation;
  • Conduct system searches to retrieve client information and follow up on returned mail;
  • Support claims setup and update files, including payment status and client information;
  • Communicate with clients (calls and emails) to respond to inquiries or obtain missing information;
  • Collaborate with claims analysts and internal teams to support daily operations.

  • Is known for their strong organizational skills and attention to detail;
  • Stands out for their ability to manage repetitive administrative tasks with accuracy;
  • Is recognized for their teamwork and ability to collaborate in a high-volume environment;
  • Has 2–3 years of experience in customer service or administrative support (finance industry an asset);
  • Is able to come to the office 2 to 3 times per week in a hybrid work model;
  • Has an advanced level of English proficiency, as the role involves communicating with clients and internal stakeholders on a regular basis.

The typical hiring range for this position is between 50,000 $ and 55,000 $ CAD per year; the base salary offered may vary depending on knowledge, skills, years of experience, and internal equity related to the role. At iA, we are committed to offering a fair, equitable, and market-based compensation structure.

Skills Required

  • 2-3 years of customer service or administrative support experience
  • Experience in the finance or insurance industry
  • Advanced level of English proficiency
  • Ability to work hybrid and be in the office 2 to 3 times per week
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
