What it’s like to be a Northbridge Claims Analyst
The Claims Analyst is responsible for developing, maintaining, and implementing initiatives that support Claims objectives and corporate goals. This includes maintaining relationships with business stakeholders to conduct process analyses, needs assessments, and gather requirements to align information technology solutions with business initiatives on various projects. The role is also responsible for developing, coordinating, and delivering all systems training to new and existing staff, including any updates and improvements.

Ensure alignment of claims service initiatives with overall Northbridge customer strategies to identify trends and remediate service gaps.
Research, evaluate and recommend operational procedures and best practices to optimize processes and workflow efficiencies to enhance processes, business, and system requirements.
Assist with developing, producing, and maintaining systems procedures, process maps, reports and documentation as required.
Compile and organize various scheduled and ad-hoc reports in an accurate and timely manner.
Compile, organize and analyze data for periodic filing.
Investigate data inconsistencies and recommend improvements to reduce error ratios.
Coordinate, execute, and assist with system testing as required.
Support and maintain claims systems training for new and existing staff.
Work collaboratively with other departments, vendors, and/or Claims leadership on special projects as required.
You have:
Post-secondary education in a related field (i.e. Business Administration) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Minimum 1-3 years of Property and Casualty experience preferably with multi-line claims handling expertise.
Strong working knowledge of: Internal business operations, operational procedures, workflow, and processing functions.Insurance trends, developments, current standards, philosophies, and federal and provincial/local laws and regulations.Information systems and software in assigned Business area (i.e. Navigator, NavDocs, CPLUS, Claims Desk, Oasis, TED, Wave, CLIPS, Northbridge Online).
Completion of or actively working towards the CIP/FCIP designation preferred.
