Job Description:

• Claims manager responsible for technical oversight of general aviation hull and liability claims for North America supervising in-house adjusting staff, outside independent adjusters and attorneys
• Will be primary contact on key client accounts as well as for brokers
• Provide appropriate indemnity and expense reserving philosophy for the company
• Conduct limited file reviews
• Bill time on billable files
• Assist with marketing presentations for new business and the retention of current clients

Qualifications

• BA in Business Administration or equivalent discipline, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Pilot’s license and/or A&P license preferred.
• Minimum 8-10 years of progressively more complex aviation claim adjusting experience
• Prefer advanced designation such as CAIP, AIC, SCLA, or CPCU
• 5 years supervisory or managerial experience is preferred
• Strong analytical and organizational skills
• Excellent verbal and written skills
