Marsh is seeking a Claims Advisor to join our Dublin Claims team, a key role within our broader insurance advisory services. This position offers the opportunity to work across a diverse range of insurance lines including Motor, Personal Injury (PI), Marine, Employers’ Liability (EL), and Public Liability (PL), managing claims for large multinational corporate clients. You will play a vital role in delivering expert claims handling and advocacy, ensuring timely and fair outcomes that add significant value to our clients and support Marsh’s reputation as a leading global risk adviser.

In this role, you will manage a portfolio of claims from initial notification through to settlement, working closely with clients, insurers, and internal teams. You will be responsible for developing claim strategies, coordinating with external partners such as loss adjusters and legal advisors, and advocating for clients to achieve appropriate outcomes within policy terms. You will also support complex claims and disputes, ensuring clear documentation and escalation where necessary.

We will rely on you to:

• Manage a portfolio of Motor, Property & Personal Injury claims end-to-end, from first notification through settlement/closure.
• Set and document claim strategy, timelines, and next steps, maintaining strong diary management and proactive follow-up to drive timely outcomes.
• Advocate for clients by negotiating with insurers and coordinating key stakeholders (clients, insurers, internal teams, adjusters, and legal advisers) to achieve fair outcomes within policy terms.
• Handle complex claims, declinatures, and coverage disputes by producing clear chronologies/summaries, escalating appropriately, and ensuring decisions are well-documented.
• Deliver accurate reporting/MI and audit-ready records to support renewals and stewardship meetings, while maintaining compliance with governance, conduct standards, GDPR, and internal controls.

What you will need to have:

• Relevant insurance claims experience, ideally including complex and/or high-value claims across multiple insurance lines.
• APA (Accredited Product Adviser) (Commercial) qualified as a minimum.
• Strong IT capability, including proficiency in MS Office.
• Strong communication and relationship-management skills with a client-first mindset.
• Proven ability to work under pressure, manage deadlines, and maintain high-quality, compliant documentation.
• Experience preparing claims reports and coordinating with external partners (e.g., loss adjusters, solicitors, forensic accountants).
  

What makes you stand out:

• 3+ years insurance claims experience, including handling complex or high-value claims.
• Experience preparing and presenting claims experience reporting and insights for renewal/claims review meetings.
• Experience coordinating with external vendors (adjusters/legal) and managing contentious matters.
• Qualified Chartered Insurance Professional (CIP).
• Demonstrated coaching/mentoring capability and/or prior people leadership experience (where applicable to the role).
