The Claims Administrator supports the company's workers' compensation, auto liability, general liability, and property claims programs through claim intake, documentation management, employee communication, return-to-work coordination, and administrative support. This position works closely with employees, supervisors, carriers, TPAs, and other claim partners to ensure timely reporting, accurate recordkeeping, and a positive claims experience.

What You'll Do:

  • Receive, review, and report new claims to TPAs, carriers, and claim partners.
  • Maintain accurate claim files, documentation, and follow-up activities.
  • Serve as a resource for employees and supervisors regarding claim reporting and claim status.
  • Collect and manage incident reports, medical documentation, witness statements, and supporting records.
  • Track work restrictions, return-to-work dates, and modified duty assignments.
  • Follow up with employees, supervisors, providers, and adjusters to obtain required information.
  • Assist with OSHA recordkeeping, audits, insurance renewal requests, and compliance-related activities.
  • Manage claims-related correspondence, reports, and departmental administrative tasks.
  • Escalate lost-time, litigated, or complex claims to the Claims Manager.

What You'll Bring:

  • Associate degree preferred; equivalent education and experience considered.
  • 2+ years of experience in claims administration, workers' compensation, safety, HR, risk management, insurance, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong customer service and employee support mindset.
  • Proficiency in Outlook, Word, Excel, and Microsoft Teams.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgment.
  • Familiarity with claims management systems and handling sensitive information preferred.
