Initially the role will be office based in our central Swindon offices for training, however once competent in the role, you'll mainly be working from home with a few days per month in the Swindon office – as such you’ll need to be based within commuting distance from Swindon.
This role is on a permanent, part-time basis of 30 hours per week (0.8 FTE), ideally Monday to Thursday (however this could be negotiable for the right candidate).

What will you deliver?
- Communicating with customers via both telephone and in writing regarding their bereavement claims.
- Chasing customers on outstanding information required for their claims.
- Performing administration duties on claims.
- Contribute to a positive and supportive team culture.
- General administrative duties.
What are we looking for?
- Previous administration experience is essential.
- Previous experience in an FCA regulated financial services environment and / or claims experience in a back-office environment. Full training can be provided on claims processes as long as the incumbent is willing to learn.
- Excellent communications skills, both written and orally, as this will involve plenty of customer contact.
- Able to write professional bespoke freeform letters to customers.
- Strong professional customer service skills, as some communications with customers will be with vulnerable people who have recently suffered bereavement or illness.
- Good IT skills, including Word, Excel etc., as well as able to learn new software quickly.
- Self-reliant, able to manage workloads effectively.
