Thank you for your interest in applying! The City Church Residency is a two-year program that exists to equip individuals to serve in vocational ministry. During this time, residents will work alongside ministry leaders using their gifts to serve the church, while also being developed theologically, professionally, and personally.
Residents serve alongside ministry leaders to accomplish the work of the ministry to which they are assigned. The residents will use their abilities to serve the ministries in leadership, administration, and execution of ministry goals and initiatives.

- Phase 2 - Ministry Assessment
- You will receive an email with your ministry assessment questions after your application is reviewed
- ***NOTE: You will not be able to save your answers between sections. Please set aside an hour to do this assessment***
- Phase 3 - Local Interview
- An interview will be done by your local supervision based on your ministry application and assessment.
- You'll be able to schedule this within our system after you complete the ministry assessment.
Skills Required
- Two-year commitment to the residency program
- Willingness to serve alongside ministry leaders in leadership, administration, and execution
- Complete the ministry assessment (one-hour)
- Participate in a local interview following assessment
- Submit online application to begin process
What We Do
Reliant Mission partners with churches and nonprofits to support employed ministry programs, focusing on the development of character, skills, and doctrine. They provide participants with applicant assessment, support raising training, coaching, and employment-related guidance, while managing the salary and benefits for those in their short-term or two-year residency and internship programs.
