700Apps is in search of a dedicated Citrix Systems Specialist to enhance our IT infrastructure and improve the delivery of virtualized applications and desktops. As a Citrix Systems Specialist, you will play a vital role in designing, implementing, and maintaining Citrix environments, ensuring optimal performance and security for our users.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and maintain Citrix solutions, including Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops.
- Configure and manage Citrix infrastructure, including licensing, gateway, and storefront services.
- Monitor system performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure high availability and reliability of services.
- Collaborate with IT teams to integrate Citrix environments with existing systems, applications, and services.
- Maintain security best practices and ensure compliance with internal and external regulations.
- Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and other IT staff.
- Document configurations, procedures, and system changes for knowledge sharing and compliance.
- Stay current with Citrix technologies and industry trends to proactively recommend improvements.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience as a Citrix Systems Administrator or similar role.
- Strong knowledge of Citrix technologies, including Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops, Citrix ADC, and Citrix Workspace.
- Experience with operating systems (Windows Server, Linux) and virtualization technologies.
- Understanding of networking concepts and protocols (TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS).
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to work effectively under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Relevant Citrix certifications (e.g., CCA, CCP) are strongly preferred.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
