Job Summary
The Citrix Administrator supports, maintains, and administers enterprise systems, infrastructure, and application environments. This role is responsible for responding to system-related incidents, troubleshooting technical issues, and implementing effective solutions. The Citrix Administrator ensures that systems are functioning efficiently and securely while collaborating with cross-functional teams to support technology operations across the organization.
Essential Functions
- Supports and maintains enterprise systems, servers, applications, and related infrastructure.
- Responds to hardware, software, and network incidents and service requests, ensuring timely resolution.
- Performs system monitoring, maintenance, and patching to ensure optimal performance and compliance.
- Maintains accurate documentation of system configurations, procedures, and incident resolutions.
- Participates in the on-call rotation to provide after-hours technical support as needed.
- Promotes system security, user access controls, and compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.
- Collaborates with IT teams and business stakeholders to evaluate and implement technical solutions.
- Assists in the deployment and configuration of new systems and upgrades to existing infrastructure.
- Follows change management protocols and participates in testing and validation processes.
- Identifies and shares best practices with peers and supports continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications
- H.S. Diploma or GED required
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field preferred
- 2-4 years of experience in systems administration required
- Experience supporting a mid to large-size enterprise environment preferred
Knowledge, Skills and Abilities
- Proficiency with Windows and/or Linux server administration.
- Strong understanding of system security, backup, and recovery procedures.
- Experience with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
- Familiarity with Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and enterprise networking concepts.
- Ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
- Strong communication and customer service skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organizational and documentation skills.
Licenses and Certifications
- Relevant certification in systems administration, such as Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, CompTIA Server+, or Red Hat Certified System Administrator (RHCSA) preferred
- Relevant certification in Citrix administration, such as Citrix Certified Associate - Virtualization, Citrix Certified Professional - Virtualization or Citrix Virtual Apps and Desktops Service on Citrix Cloud.Preferred
Skills Required
