(CIS) Corporate Infrastructure and Security M&A Synergy Analyst
We are seeking a dedicated and collaborative professional to partner with Thermo Fisher Scientific's Corporate Infrastructure and Security (CIS) teams across M&A, Service Delivery, Finance, and Sourcing to identify, track, and drive synergy and cost-saving opportunities across M&A programs and projects.
This individual will play a key role in establishing and operationalizing new processes to support chargeback management across CIS, while developing a streamlined and automated approach for tracking M&A transactions, software licensing, and optimization opportunities.
The role will coordinate governance activities and cross-functional updates among Finance, Sourcing, Service Delivery, M&A, and Synergy Program teams to ensure process adoption, financial transparency, and chargeback accuracy.
In addition, this position will support the execution of CIS's Executive Business Review (EBR) program, partnering with strategic vendors to facilitate discussions around integration planning, technology roadmaps, contract optimization, and software licensing strategies that maximize business value.
The preferred work location for this role is on-site in Frederick, Maryland.
Responsibilities:
• Collaborate with Finance, M&A, and Service Delivery teams to establish a chargeback management approach across CIS, leveraging existing frameworks while ensuring ongoing governance and compliance.
• Work closely with technical owners and M&A project managers to optimize software license management, identify consolidation opportunities, and uncover potential cost synergies.
• Support the adoption of Thermo Fisher's standard procurement processes within CIS M&A initiatives, coordinating with the Sourcing organization as needed.
• Coordinate with the Thermo Fisher Sourcing team and CIS leadership to implement and manage the CIS Executive Business Review (EBR) program with strategic vendors.
• Facilitate licensing, hardware, and contract labor procurement for M&A projects requiring Vendor Management support. This includes engaging with CIS technical teams and suppliers to maximize value from existing and future agreements while identifying opportunities for cost savings across M&A initiatives.
• Track and report on realized savings, drive licensing optimization efforts, and synergy opportunities to support M&A integration objectives and financial targets.
• Performs other related duties and responsibilities as assigned to meet
business needs.

Compensation and Benefits
The salary range estimated for this position based in Maryland is $95,000.00–$100,000.00.This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
