Summary:
This position is responsible for ensuring all circulation billing activities and circulation collections activities are completed timely and accurately for all properties managed in the Shared Services Center.
*This is a remote role but you must reside in Ohio or Colorado.
What you will do:
Supervise the Circulation Billing Team within the Shared Services Center to ensure all circulation billings are completed timely and accurately; manage the month end close process to ensure all circulation close activities are completed timely and accurately
Act as a subject matter expert in circulation billing process and systems
Assist in clearing reconciling items that may appear in circulation accounts, up to and including detailed account research
Responsible for establishing productivity and quality performance measurements, monitoring performance against established goals, and coaching employees on process improvements
Assist with billings and adjustment/return entry as needed
Provide customer service to key contacts at field location
Responsible for creating an environment and culture that fosters process improvement, high performance teams, employee growth, extraordinary customer service, and market-driven competitiveness in Billing
Enforce all policies, controls, processes and procedures related to circulation billing
Identify areas for process improvement and increased efficiency
Ensure all documentation is up-to-date, accurate and easy to understand
Assist with the integration of new properties into the Shared Services Center
Support Circulation Billing Manager with special projects and reporting
What you will bring:
Associate’s degree preferred
Five years of billing experience with two to three years of supervisory experience
Ability to analyze and resolve problems using critical analysis with minimal supervision; expected to take initiative to refine procedures, notify senior management of potential issues, use tact and diplomacy in servicing the client, communicating with others and demonstrate ethical behavior at all times
Demonstrated ability to create Excel spreadsheets using formulas and pivot tables as needed
Strong leader
Ability to communicate technical problems to the appropriate IT staff for system functionality issues and resolution
Benefits and Compensation:
The salary for this position is $58,000. Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to geographic location, education, work experience, time in role, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, the Company offers eligible employees a variety of benefits including medical, dental, life and disability insurance, 401k, as well as paid time off and select paid holidays (all benefits are based on eligibility).
